As the trail follows the Budhi Gandaki River valley, trekkers cross impressive suspension bridges, pass traditional settlements, and gradually ascend into higher Himalayan terrain. The landscapes shift dramatically, from subtropical forests to rugged mountain valleys shaped by glaciers and time.
A major highlight of the trek is crossing the Larkya La Pass (5,167 m). This high-altitude pass requires an early morning start and careful pacing due to wind and snow conditions. However, the effort is rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of Manaslu and surrounding peaks.
