Itinerary

Day 1: Kathmandu to Paro (Flight) to Hotel

Tour time: 3 to 4 hours

Begin your Bhutan adventure with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Paro, enjoying breathtaking Himalayan views along the way. Drive to Thimphu and explore the Memorial Chorten, traditional paper factories, arts and crafts schools, textiles, and local handicrafts.

Day 2: Paro to Thimpu (Drive)

Tour time: 5 to 6 hours

Hike to Cheri Gompa, a peaceful monastery established by Bhutan’s first ruler, Shabdrung, in the 1620s. Explore the monastery before ending the day at Thimphu’s vibrant local market, filled with traditional goods, fresh produce, and Bhutanese culture.

Day 3: Thimpu to Punakha (Drive)

Tour time: 5 to 6 hours

On your third day in Bhutan, drive to Punakha, the former winter capital, via the scenic Dochula Pass (3,050 m). Enjoy breathtaking Himalayan views and explore the fertile valley, home to the magnificent Punakha Dzong and Wangdi Phodrang Dzong.

Day 4: Punakha to Paro (Drive)

Day 5: Tiger Nest Monastery Hike or Day Trip to Haa Valley
